MeetMeOnBoard Community Guidelines

MeetMeOnBoard is a private, adults-only space created to foster meaningful connections,
shared experiences, and community for LGBTQ+ cruise travellers. These guidelines exist to
ensure the platform remains safe, respectful, inclusive, and fully compliant with global app store
and legal standards.
By joining, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Service.
1. Age Verification & Eligibility
MeetMeOnBoard is strictly for users aged 18 and over.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
● You are at least 18 years old.
● You are not accessing the platform on behalf of a minor.
● We may request age verification in accordance with U.S. state laws (e.g. Texas, Florida,
Utah).
● Any user found to have misrepresented their age will be permanently banned.
Note: We do not allow photos of unaccompanied or unclothed minors, including childhood images of yourself.
2. Respect & Behaviour
We are committed to fostering a kind, respectful, and safe community.
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
● Harassment or Bullying: Targeted or repeated behaviour that harms, intimidates, or demeans others.
● Hate Speech: Attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, age, ability, nationality, or identity.
Violence or Threats:
Any suggestion or encouragement of harm — online or offline —will result in removal.
3. Nudity, Sexual Content & App Store Compliance
To comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies:
● Nude or sexually explicit images, videos, or text are not allowed anywhere on the platform — public or private.
This includes profile pictures, private messages, community posts, and event content.
Sharing adult content may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.
4. Impersonation & Identity
● You must not impersonate another person, brand, or public figure.
We may request ID verification if your account is flagged.
Verified impersonation results in permanent removal.
5. No Commercial Use or Solicitation
MeetMeOnBoard is for personal, non-commercial use.
Do not:
● Promote, advertise, or sell products/services
Fundraise or solicit donations
● Engage in sexual or financial solicitation
6. Cruise Communities & Forums
● Use cruise-specific groups and community boards respectfully.
Do not spam, derail threads, or create inappropriate events.
All content is subject to moderation and must follow these guidelines.
7. Reporting & Moderation
● Use in-app reporting tools to flag inappropriate content or users.
Our moderation team reviews all reports within 72 hours.
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or ban accounts, or report serious
issues to law enforcement.
8. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
MeetMeOnBoard complies with:
● U.S. state-level age verification and online safety laws
● Apple and Google platform policies on user-generated content
● Global privacy and data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
We reserve the right to update these guidelines to reflect changes in the law or platform
requirements.
9. Violations & Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may lead to:
● Written warning
● Content removal
● Temporary suspension
● Permanent account ban
● Legal escalation for criminal behaviour
There is no appeal for violations involving nudity, impersonation, underage access, or serious
harassment.
