LGBTQ Cocktails & Cruisers a smash in Fort Lauderdale

Here’s a shocker: Gay people really know how to throw a party! MeetMeOnboard hosted a fabulous LGBTQ Cruisers and Cocktails party at Georgie’s Alibi Monkey Bar in Fort Lauderdale the night before Mark and Dale boarded Celebrity EDGE. Co-sponsored by Celebrity Cruises and Vacaya , the event was fully booked in 24 hours as a result of a simple “Save the Date” email.

A prize was awarded for those who had been on the most cruises. About half the group had been on 15 or more cruises. The couple who won had sailed aboard 65 cruises. You could see cruise envy on the faces of all our sailors in attendance.
Dale served as MC. Adam spoke to the group about his travel services. Mark spent most of his time with a drink in one hand and his camera in the other. No one dancd on the table tops, perhaps because most of the tables had been removed to accommodate the crowd.
